Ok. So after all of those beautiful, mouth-watering, incredible recipes I shared yesterday, I have to admit something:
The first day of our S’mores Week is going to look phoned in. In reality, I was blown away by the simplicity of these “s’mores” from Butter with a Side of Bread that they had to make an appearance, and a late dinner tonight made them the perfect start to our week. These are hands-down the easiest s’mores you’ll ever make with kids… and they’re delicious.
INGREDIENTS
- Fudge Stripe Cookies
- Marshmallows
(Seriously, that’s it.)
1. Preheat oven to 300F.
2. Place cookies stripes side down on a baking sheet.
3. Cover each cookie with a marshmallow.
4. Top each S’more with a second Fudge Strip cookie.
5. Cook for 5-7 minutes, keeping an eye on marshmallows. As they begin to puff up and soften, your s’mores are ready to enjoy! 🙂
They are a little less messy than we expected, but just messy enough to know they’re quality s’mores 😉 I love the crunch of the cookies. The kids just loved them.
Seriously, fudge graham cookies (oh! what about fudge grahams?!) is simple and brilliant. Have you ever made s’mores like this?
