As you may know by now, we love finding fun, inexpensive activities to do as a family. You also very well know that we tend to make even the most ordinary days a little “Disney-fied”. Our first time at a Home Depot Kids Workshop was no different!
The Kids Workshops are a really sweet little get-together offered once each month at your local store. They’re completely free, but a sign-up is highly recommended. We have seen kids making a variety of items; last weekend we made a pencil holder, just perfect for back-to-school and for my girls’ new desks in their rooms.
After the kits were assembled – just a few steps, which each of our three kids were able to do with varying degrees of help – it was time to paint.
This is where our true colors showed…
You can check your local listings here, and sign up for an upcoming workshop. I’d love to see your creations, Disney-inspired or otherwise! Share them on the Facebook page.
