“There’s a place where amazing things happen just to put a smile on the face of a child. Where skies sparkle in moments of wonder that get to live forever – as your memories. A place where brothers and sisters actually get along, and families get to experience that rare delight of simply being family.
There is a place where magic lives.”
Perhaps you know this place. You’ve seen that smile on the face of your child, the one that is different than other smiles you’ve seen before. You hold dear countless memories of your own, recalling time spent just being together with the ones you love.
Or perhaps you fell in love with a hit movie starring our pal Mickey or one of his friends, and dream of the day you can finally experience the magic of a Disney vacation.
Maybe you love all things Disney like many people I know. Or maybe you love all things Disney, can recite the monorail spiel, could give touring advice in your sleep and have had one or more discussions on your favorite Disney World smell. And have had people question your sanity. Either way, welcome.
This site might help you dream. It might help you plan a few details here and there, but that’s not my goal. There are truly phenomenal resources on the web with all of the latest breaking Disney news, every detail of hotels and dining menus you’d want and more than you can imagine with regards to planning a trip to any of the Disney parks. I certainly have no interest in reinventing the wheel. Instead, this will be a place where stories of our magic lives – and maybe you can find some for yourself and your family, too!
There will be plenty of reviews, tips and tricks about a variety of Disney Destinations. As DVC members with multiple Disney cruises, a trip to the Disneyland resort and southern California, a bucket list that includes all of the parks worldwide, and more than 100 days on property at Walt Disney World, we have developed our fair share of opinions – most of which are right, of course 😉
Unfortunately though, something about a job and bills keeps us from being in our happy place all the time – so we have to do what we can to bring a little of the Disney world to our world. For me, that includes ingesting all of the information I can from veteran bloggers and podcasters day in and day out. My kids though? They’re not so patient, so we get a bit more creative. I will be sharing our Disney parties (not just for birthdays and holidays, of course!), crafts, and recipes, as well as our favorite books, movies and Disney music.
This isn’t going to be your go-to destination for all of the Disney information there is to consume – but I’d be happy to point you in that direction should you need it. Instead, I hope this is a place you find a little joy and inspiration. Bonus points for the reference. 🙂
